The Fallen Ones
A creature-feature horror novel with an epic twist

I’m N. P. Bernal, a horror author and creator of The Fallen Ones, a creature feature horror novel. I was born and raised in Hawaii and now calling Idaho home. Long before becoming a horror writer, I was the kid drawn to abandoned places, fascinated by what might be hiding in the shadows—and never one to turn down a good scare.

I’ve been a lifelong reader of horror and always drawn to stories that leave you questioning everything, especially the ones with twists you never see coming. Now, through my own writing, I want to bring that same sense of dread, surprise, and delicious uncertainty to my readers.

Outside of writing, I’m married, a parent of two, and a dog owner. But beneath the ordinary rhythms of family life is a lifelong fascination with the darker side of human nature.

After all, everyone has a little darkness in them.
